Description of Camp
Located half an hour’s drive east of Enderby on beautiful Mabel Lake, BC, MacKenzie Camp has served well over 9,000 kids since 1947. A 2-tier fee structure gives households latitude to choose the registration fee they can afford and camperships enable every child to attend, regardless of financial circumstances. MacKenzie is also a place where people in their late teens and early 20s learn how, as camp counsellors, to make camping delightful, enriching, and safe for kids of all sorts. We also rent our facilities to families, clubs, associations, and businesses for reunions, weddings, workshops, and celebrations of life. Like everything else at camp, these events are about bringing people closer to each other and to God’s Creation. Camp is not a place where people put their lives on “hold.” Instead, it’s where you dive in, submerge, and come out refreshed and exhilarated. Our motto says it all: "Behold the power of camp!
